Peptide and its pharmaceutical compositions for use as cancer treatment and antimicrobial - Banco de Patentes

Researchers of the University of Valencia have developed a peptide that has potent properties as a tumour suppressor, as it significantly inhibits the tumour growth of triple-negative breast cancer cells. Additionally, it's also effective as an antimicrobial agent in the treatment of infections produced by Gram+, Gram- and fungal bacteria.
