As an alternative to the free fall of the object under inspection, a novel mechanism is proposed that drives the object from below and, by means of a suitable algorithm for controlling the push and pull, it manages to reduce the speed of the object at the time of capture of the image, allows several acquisitions in a short space of time and does not reduce the flexibility of the system as it is an extremely generic handling that does not require change of manipulators, specific programming depending on the object to be inspected, etc.
