New porous materials for the degradation of toxic and polluting compounds
Researchers from the University of Valencia and the University of Granada have developed a MOF based on titanium and iron that combines high porosity with high stability in aqueous media. This combination of metals gives it catalytic activity for the degradation of toxic compounds in water without the need for additives.
