Memristive devices based on molecular semiconductor materials Researchers from the University of Valencia at the Institute of Molecular Science ICMOL, have developed a novel device with interesting applications in the microelectronics sector. It combines information processing with memory storage. The new molecular memristors enable customized designs, reduced size and energy requirements, and the ability to be processed using low-cost techniques.
