The present invention describes sanitizing compositions that allow simultaneously disinfecting hands and/or surfaces, objects, footwear, etc., and monitoring the quality of the sanitizing process, distinguishing between the correct and incorrectly disinfected areas through the presence or absence of luminescence in an immediate, safe, routinely and economical manner. The compositions comprise a luminescent agent formed by a matrix and a luminescent reagent embedded and/or attached to it, which improves its safety and efficiency.
