The Candida Auris patent is a new rapid and sensitive detection system for C. auris. A genetic chromium / fluorine indicator is introduced, which will be released in case of the presence of C. auris DNA as a consequence of the hybridization of the target DNA with the oligonucleotide that blocks the entry of the pores, acting as a marker.
