Indole derivatives for the treatment of diabetes and related metabolic disorders
CSIC´s researchers have developed a series of indole derivatives compounds which are useful for treating diabetes and related metabolic disorders (inflammatory diseases, autoimmune, cardiovascular, neurological ...). These compounds act on different metabolic routes regulators, mainly involved in the regulation of energy metabolism. Therefore, they have found a useful new therapeutic target on which to act to try to control these diseases.
The invention developed by CSIC is protected by patent, application was made in 2014.
