Novel antiparasitic compounds  for Chagas disease and Leishmaniasis

Universitat de València and Universidad de Granada have developed novel compounds for the treatment of Chagas' disease and Leishmaniasis. These new compounds show higher antiparasitic activity and are ten times less toxic than drugs in use.
